Not a book for the squeemish - like me. I'm feeling a little green after just reading the synopsis of this book.
You may be made of must stronger stuff. So here goes: Last Known Victim occurs after Hurricane Katrina hits New Orleans. Police have discovered a refrigerator full of severed hands. I'm not sure if a pun is intended, but the murderer who has put the hands in the fridge becomes known as The Handyman.
A man's body, sans hands, is found in a shallow grave and identified as a police officer shot and killed during the hurricane. The officer's wife is also a member of the NO police force and seeks to find The Handyman.
