Not quite Ghostbusters, but a fun novel

A rare book indeed - it's cheap and I've read it. I don't read ghost stories, so this was the first one for me. A fun little read the worked out in the end for both the ghosts and the still-living.

Lynda Simmons debut novel is entertaining and delves into life, love, and the afterlife.

Rosie and Samantha were best friends, right up until Rosie ran off with Sam's fiance, Michael.

Seven years later Sam has a new pub, The Silver Swan, complete with employees with colorful personalities. Then Michael walks back into her life and now he's a widower and single father.

Sam takes the opportunity to reconcile with Michael. But Rosie isn't about to let death stop her from keeping them apart. Her ghost has been hanging around her husband, playing on his grief and guilt - and only Sam can see and hear her.

Sam and Michael will never be able to find true love if Sam cannot get rid of Rosie.

A great summer beach read, Getting Rid of Rosie is available today for $3.74.
