The man behind the mayor

Michael Bloomberg is not only New York City's 108th mayor; he is a business genius and self-made billionaire. He has run the toughest city in America with an independence and show of ego that first brought him great success-and eventually threatened it. Yet while Bloomberg is internationally known and admired, few people know the man behind the carefully crafted public persona.

Written by Joyce Purnick, Mike Bloomberg (the book) is available for only $2.89.

  1. Sorry to post this unrelated comment, but I just became aware of your terrific blog and can't figure out how to contact you.

You might want to try a mystery novella by an Edgar-nominated author (that would be me), offered on Kindle for only 1.99. Called [[ASIN:B003C8081S Death is the Cool Night]], it tells the tale of an opera conductor who can't remember the night his nemesis was murdered -- did he commit the crime or was it done by his enchanting new lover? Classical music and opera references abound!

  2. Thanks for the suggestion. The website will be coming up soon (less than a week, if all is well)! There will be a comment form on the site.

In the meantime, I will certainly look at your book and post it when I'm in need of a mystery or a SuperCheap (meaning price only!) book for the day. I see that the book is highly reviewed - always a plus!

I'm excited about the feedback we are getting and hope to publicize the site more. Help us by spreading the word, please. We'll work together.
